THE DIGEST
Junior League of Pasadena Celebrates 100 Years of Community Impact
Junior League of Pasadena is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, marking a century of local impact across some of Pasadena’s most well-known institutions.
Founded in 1926, the volunteer organization played a key role in launching both Kidspace Children’s Museum and the Pasadena Senior Center. The group helped establish Kidspace in 1979 alongside the Caltech community, while also funding and staffing the Senior Center in its early years, contributing thousands of volunteer hours during its first decade.
To mark the milestone, the organization will host a centennial luncheon on April 11 at the University Club of Pasadena. The event will include a silent auction and the debut of a short film highlighting its history. To volunteer, donate or sponsor the event, and learn more about the centennial celebration, click here.
Today, the Junior League of Pasadena has around 300 active members and continues to support the community through volunteer efforts and initiatives, including recent local relief work following the Eaton Fire.

Masters of Taste Coming to the Rose Bowl
Masters of Taste is set for April 19 at the Rose Bowl Stadium, bringing together some of LA’s top chefs, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and spirit brands for an all-inclusive tasting event.
You can walk the field sampling dishes from dozens of restaurants, try cocktails from top bars, and taste wines, craft beer, cold brew, and more. It’s set up so you can move at your own pace, try a little of everything, and discover new local spots all in one place.
Beyond the food, the event is also a fundraiser. 100% of net proceeds go to Union Station Homeless Services, supporting housing, case management, and essential services for people experiencing homelessness across Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley.
Tickets include unlimited tastings, with VIP options offering early entry, access to lounge areas, and elevated food and drink experiences. Click here for more details.
