Robbins Brothers has officially opened its new headquarters and flagship jewelry showroom in Pasadena, creating one of the most notable retail additions to Colorado Boulevard this year. The grand opening celebration runs from November 15 to 21 and includes 25% off everything, daily giveaways, doorbusters, and special pricing on top sellers. Events began Friday morning at 10 AM.
Located at 587 E Colorado Blvd, the new Robbins Brothers Pasadena headquarters sits inside the historic First Trust Building. Built in 1927, the landmark features Mediterranean Revival, Renaissance Revival, and Beaux-Arts design elements, original murals, stonework, and 30-foot coffered ceilings. The building operated as a bank in its early years, and the original vault downstairs remains intact.
Inside the New Robbins Brothers Pasadena Showroom
I visited the new showroom before opening day and toured it with CEO Marc Friedant. The experience is designed around how people shop for jewelry today, especially couples searching for engagement rings in Pasadena.
Instead of a traditional jewelry counter, the store uses elegant glass cases that open toward the customer. This layout allows shoppers to browse freely, compare pieces, and see craftsmanship up close. The floor plan is open, the lighting is warm, and the space feels more like a gallery than a typical jewelry store.
A polished grand piano sits in the showroom and adds to the atmosphere of the space.
Key features of the Pasadena headquarters
-
Private diamond viewing rooms with state-of-the-art tools
-
Designer jewelry boutiques
-
A full-time master jeweler for repairs, customization, and heirloom restoration
-
A hospitality lounge for a relaxed shopping experience
-
The original historic bank vault preserved downstairs
These elements make the new location one of the most architecturally unique jewelry stores in Pasadena.
Insights From CEO Marc Friedant
During the tour, I spoke with CEO Marc Friedant about how jewelry shopping has changed. More couples now shop together and often make decisions collaboratively. The new showroom was built with this trend in mind.
Marc explained that Robbins Brothers wanted an environment that feels open, comfortable, and easy to explore. Customers can move freely, compare styles, and learn about the details of each piece without feeling distant or rushed. The goal is to create a welcoming, personal experience for shoppers at every price point.
Robbins Brothers Strengthens Its Presence in Pasadena
Robbins Brothers previously operated a Pasadena store decades ago, and returning with both a flagship showroom and corporate headquarters marks a significant step for the company. The move brings new jobs, local partnerships, and community programs to the area.
The brand plans to collaborate with Pasadena-based vendors for events and activations. They are also launching a community initiative centered on random acts of kindness, including support for neighborhoods affected by the recent Altadena fires.
