Holiday Closures & Service Changes in Pasadena (Christmas & New Year’s)

City Hall & most City services closed Thursday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Jan. 1.

Police & Fire remain fully staffed for emergencies.

Trash pickup delayed one day during both holiday weeks.

Parking meters are free and time limits not enforced on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 (overnight restrictions paused Dec. 23–Jan. 3).

Pasadena Transit: Route 33 runs on a Sunday schedule; most other routes do not operate.

Libraries, Permit Center, recreation centers, and some public health services have adjusted hours or closures around the holidays.

Parks remain open, but no holiday site reservations.
